Susana graduated in English Language and Literature at the University of A Coruña in 2021. In the same year, she also graduated in Spanish Language and Literature at the aforementioned University. She received three awards from the Xunta de Galicia for academic excellence (2017-2020). In 2022 she obtained an MA in Secondary School Teaching from the University of Santiago de Compostela. Susana is interested in synchronic and diachronic grammar, corpus linguistics and discourse analysis. Currently, she is writing a PhD dissertation on the analysis of modal verbs and modality in scientific texts from the Coruña Corpus.
