I received my BA (Hons) in English Studies at the University of Oviedo (Spain), where I was awarded a Student-Collaboration Scholarship to start research training in the R&D project: ‘The Fluid City: Literary Representations of the Transnational City’, under the supervision of Dr. Carla Rodríguez González and Prof. Isabel Carrera Suárez (PI). My main research interests are: Contemporary British Literature (particularly Scottish), Fantasy and Gothic Writing, Gender Studies and Postcolonial Studies. I am currently studying for an MSc in Literature and Modernity at the University of Edinburgh and act as a peer-reviewer for FORUM (University of Edinburgh Postgraduate Journal of Culture & the Arts).
