SUNCODAC (the Santiago University Corpus of Online Discussions in Academic Settings) is now openly available to all members of the research community. The corpus, with a detailed description of the contents and a brief guide for users can now be freely accessed at: http://www.suncodac.com/en. The compilation, which was prepared by members of the SPERTUS research group, contains 3,305 anonymized messages —slightly under 600,000 words in Spanish, English as well as some Galician— contributed by 520 local and exchange students to online discussions held in the context of four consecutive editions of an undergraduate course on translation. The current version of the interface allows the user to search for words, short phrases and words in the proximity of other words as well as to retrieve full texts by combining a set of criteria (e.g. author’s gender, L1, etc.).
